DNA-Technology and ITGEL Eruul Mend: 10 Years of Partnership and a Major Scientific Workshop in Mongolia

In October 2025, DNA-Technology  and ITGEL Eruul Mend held a large-scale scientific seminar - workshop in Ulaanbaatar to celebrate 10 years of successful partnership.

The event brought together leading Mongolian professionals - clinicians, microbiologists, geneticists, and professors from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, as well as specialists from the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and major diagnostic laboratories.

The conference program included three scientific sections:


Session 1 – Infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance.
Experts discussed sepsis and antimicrobial resistance, presenting diagnostic outcomes based on BacScreen OM, BaсResista GLA, and MycosoScreen PCR panels in clinical practice.

Session 2 – Technological innovations and laboratory automation.
DNA-Technology experts introduced advanced solutions for PCR laboratory automation and genetic disease diagnostics, showcasing the company’s latest robotic equipment and technologies.

Session 3 – Microbiome, reproductive health, and HPV screening programs.

The discussion focused on unique FEMOFLOR®II and ANDROFLOR® panels, covering topics of reproductive health, IVF challenges, HPV, and cancer screening, emphasizing the importance of molecular approaches in early diagnostics and fertility assessment.

Each session featured scientific presentations by DNA-Technology specialists, highlighting the company’s experience in molecular diagnostics and practical applications of its systems.

During the workshop, DNA-Technology and ITGEL Eruul Mend announced a research grant program to support joint scientific projects proposed by Mongolian researchers. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and innovation in developing advanced diagnostic solutions and improving healthcare outcomes.

Additionally, the DNA-Technology team visited key healthcare institutions in Ulaanbaatar, including the Neonatology Department of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, where technical meetings and practical sessions with laboratory specialists took place.

The event became not only a major scientific forum but also a symbol of a decade-long partnership, driven by mutual trust, professionalism, and dedication to advancing laboratory medicine in Mongolia.
