At the end of March, DNA-Technology took a part in the international symposium "News in microbiological diagnosis and therapy of infections – The future is now" in Serbia.
We glad to present a new booklet on the test Androflor®, which clearly and concisely formed answers to questions such as - why to choice this test, indications for use, particularities of biomaterial collection and the obtained results interpretation.
It's a new complex analysis to quantify the gut microbiota composition of 0-14 years old children. The technology based on real-time PCR, one of the most accurate and fastest method, which allows to detect 99,9% of microorganism species of children's gut microbiota.
This is perhaps one of the most widely discussed and debated questions in reproductive medicine. Seeking to move closer to an answer based on the results of their own research, physicians from leading Austrian clinics specializing in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), together with specialists from DNA-Technology, undertook a dedicated study. Follicular fluid samples from 24 women undergoing IVF/ICSI procedures were selected for analysis, and the microbial spectrum was assessed using the FEMOFLOR®16 and ANDROFLOR®. It was found that the absence of bacterial DNA correlates with a high probability of successful fertilization. The key role in predicting ART outcomes appears to belong to the overall microbial impact leading to disruption of the dynamic balance of the microbiota.
From March 19 to 21, 2026, the international conference Microbiome Throughout Life – Translating New Science into Clinical Practice was held in Belgrade, Serbia, bringing together over 200 participants and 55 international speakers from the fields of gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, microbiology, immunology, neonatology, endocrinology, and biotechnology. DNA-Technology participated as a Platinum Sponsor and showcased its molecular diagnostic solutions for microbiome analysis.
