Medlab Middle East 2025: The Largest Event in Laboratory Medicine

Medlab Middle East 2025, held from February 3 to 6 in Dubai, once again confirmed its status as a leading international platform in laboratory medicine. The event brought together over 20,000 attendees and 900 exhibitors from more than 40 countries, highlighting its global reach and significance.

The organizers of Medlab Middle East prepared an extensive program featuring the latest advancements in laboratory diagnostics, molecular biology, and digital technologies in medicine. This year, there was a notable shift in participants’ interests toward precision medicine, women’s health, vaccines, and emergency preparedness. These areas were highlighted in dedicated exhibition sections, emphasizing their growing importance in modern laboratory practice.

DNA-Technology’s booth underwent a transformation with a modern design and improved convenience, attracting more than 500 visitors. This year, the company’s specialists presented a wide range of new equipment and PCR kits for molecular diagnostics.

New Equipment
    •    DTstream Robotic Workstations – automated system for DNA extraction and high-throughput PCR setup, ensuring precision, efficiency, and minimal hands-on time.
    •    DTclassic –  a reliable and precise thermal cycler designed for standard PCR applications and NGS library preparation, ensuring uniform temperature control and user friendly interface.
    •    New DTspin – a two-in-one device: shaker and mini centrifuge with a convenient automatic stop function.
    •    DTprime II Real-Time PCR System – one of the key products at the exhibition, drawing significant interest.  DTprime II is a new-generation real-time PCR instrument with 6 fluorescence channels, a user-friendly touchscreen interface, and advanced multiplexing for high-precision diagnostics and research.

PCR Kits
    •    HPV-Screen, HPV Quant – for the sensitive and accurate detection and quantification of HPV DNA, including high-risk types, in various clinical samples to aid in the screening, diagnosis, and monitoring of HPV-related diseases, particularly in oncology.
    •    Comprehensive diagnostic solutions for PCR-based microbiota analysis:  Femoflor® (for women) and Androflor® (for men) – for urogenital tract microbiota assessment and  ENTEROFLOR Kiddy – for the intestinal microbiota composition.
    •    BacScreen OM and BacResista GLA PCR tests – An ideal combination for urgent hospital-acquired infection diagnostics. BacScreen PCR test detects a broad range of bacterial pathogens in clinical samples, while BacResista PCR test identifies bacterial species and resistance genes to help guide targeted antimicrobial therapy.
    •    Prenatal PCR diagnostics solutions - include tests for genetic disorders, infections, fetal sex determination, and chromosomal abnormalities, providing early, non-invasive, and accurate detection using maternal blood or other samples.
Medlab 2025 offered participants extensive opportunities for business networking and partnerships, including roundtable discussions, presentations, and industry talks.
