Scope of application and operating principle

DTstream stations are used in preparation for PCR assays and in preparation for sequencing (NGS). Automatic dosing of reagents can be used for nucleic acid extraction and for preparation of PCR-mix. It is possible to work with different types of biomaterial: whole blood, feces, saliva, phlegm, milk, urine, prostate secretion, epithelial cell scrapes, ejaculate.

The DTstream line of devices allows to automate the main stages of the technological chain in PCR research. The dosing stations provide workflow optimization and significantly increase the PCR laboratory efficiency. For example, in just one standard 12-hour shift, up to fifty 384-well plates for  Femoflor® 16 can be prepared at the DTstream 12 M4 station, which amounts to about 800 individual samples.

Universal configuration

DTstream automatic dosing stations are designed for professional solution of a wide range of tasks. They can be used in medical laboratories, diagnostic and research centers. Universal design solutions, a variety of configurations and additional equipment allow to adapt the instrument to different technological processes.

DTstream family instruments differ in the number of channels (1 or 4 channels) and dispenser size: medium (M) for 200 µl, large (L) 1000 µl. The models also have a block type of construction and differ in the number of positions on the worktable: 9, 12 or 15 positions. The model name reflects the main characteristics of the station, for example, DTstream 12 M4 is a 12-position station with a medium 4-channel dispenser.
