The SARS-CoV-2/SARS-CoV Multiplex REAL-TIME PCR Detection Kit is an in vitro Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) – pathogen-detection-based product.

The SARS-CoV-2/SARS-CoV Multiplex REAL-TIME PCR Detection Kit is designed to detect SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus, 2019-nCoV) and SARS-like coronaviruses in human biological samples with an aid of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method.

The SARS-CoV-2/SARS-CoV Multiplex REAL-TIME PCR Detection Kit is intended for research and diagnostic applications.

The SARS-CoV-2/SARS-CoV Multiplex REAL-TIME PCR Detection Kit is reliable and time-saving: one-step RT-PCR for optimize the workflow and easy handling (reagents are dispensed in tubes/strips and sealed by wax to prevent contamination issues).

Samples: nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, bronchoalveolar lavage, endotracheal aspirate, nasopharyngeal aspirate, sputum

Indications for the use:

• persons with ARVI symptoms and who have been in contact with COVID-19 infected, regardless of their age;

• persons of all ages without ARVI symptoms (in the centers of infection/ in the conditions of infection spread) for the purpose of early detection of coronavirus to prevent further spread of infection.

Detection by real-time PCR:

• 2 targets for SARS-CoV-2: genes E and N (specific for CoV -2 area);

• 1 target for SARS-CoV-like viruses: gene E (SARS coronavirus; Bat SARS-like coronavirus; Bat SARS coronavirus; SARS-like coronavirus; SARS-related coronavirus; Rhinolophus affinis coronavirus; Coronavirus BtRs-BetaCoV);
