DTstream for nucleic acid extraction
DTstream nucleic acid extraction stations allow you to fully automate the sample preparation step and obtain highly purified DNA or RNA for further research.
DTstream significantly saves working time due to simultaneous processing of several samples. Even a single station significantly increases laboratory throughput and allows for more flexible workflow management. The level of automatic sample preparation is fundamentally superior to manual extraction due to optimized protocols and standardization of the process. Automation avoids errors in sample handling. This is especially important for high-tech assays such as real-time PCR and NGS, as sample preparation failures can lead to incorrect results.
DNA-Technology offers a 4-channel DTstream L4 station for automated nucleic acid extraction. Depending on the application and calculated volumes, the station can be selected for 9, 12 or 15 positions (on the working table) and with the necessary accessories.
The modular configuration provides the flexibility to customize the equipment for a wide variety of applications.
A unique technology of sample homogenization was developed by DNA-Technology specialists. Application of rotating magnetic rod (DTmag16) showed higher separation efficiency compared to the standard approach, when mixing is performed using tips.
DTstream L4 advantages:
- Enclosed work area with protective cover and UV module for effective decontamination of the working table surface
- Dispensing volume 30–1000 µl
- 4-channel disoensing unit with air-lock technology for reliable fluid volume retention during tip movement
- Stationary operation without control PC, preset scripts for reagent and biomaterial dosing
- Possibility to develop individual scripts according to the user's tasks
- Possibility to complete the station with additional equipment
- Integration using software package DTintegrator with the main LIS on the Russian market
DNA-Technology has developed a wide range of specialized sample preparation kits for DNA and RNA extraction. Depending on the research objectives and the type of biomaterial, the optimal protocol and reagent set can be selected.
