Medlab Asia & Asia Health 2024 in Bangkok

The international trade exhibition and congress on medical laboratory and healthcare Medlab Asia 2024 & Asia Health 2024 were held from July 10 - 12 in Thailand.

More than 10,000 visitors and 4,000 delegates visited the event. The event became one of the most significant events in the field of medical technology and laboratory research, brought together on one platform leading specialists, researchers, representatives of medical companies and organizations from ASEAN countries.

The exhibition gathered more than 350 companies from 60 countries, which presented their latest developments and innovative solutions in the field of healthcare and medical laboratory industry. This year the key topics were advanced diagnostic methods, automation of laboratory processes, molecular biology, genetic research and many others.

About 500 guests visited DNA-Technology booth. The visitors were especially interested in PCR-based microbiota tests - Femoflor®, Androflor® for urogenital tract and Enteroflor® Kids for gut microbiome analysis. Due to the high percentage of diseases associated with cervical cancer, kits for the diagnosis of HPV infections were in high demand.

New models of equipment were presented to the visitors: automated liquid handling platforms DTstream, RT-PCR system DTprime for DNA/RNA targets analysis for diagnostic laboratories with high throughput of routine tests, classical thermocycler DTclassic for NGS applications and other additional laboratory equipment.

Besides showcasing medical products and technologies, Medlab Asia and Asia Health also hosts scientific academic conferences for professionals to enhance careers and expand knowledge in the ever-changing healthcare world.

The rich program included numerous reports, master classes and panel discussions. Speakers discussed topical issues and challenges facing medical laboratories.
