The C. diphtheriae Tox Multiplex REAL-TIME PCR Detection Kit has successfully passed testing at the Pasteur Institute of Algeria, demonstrating full compliance with diphtheria diagnostic requirements.

Based on the results, the Pasteur Institute has confirmed the effectiveness of the reagents and has requested their urgent supply for epidemiological surveillance in the country. It is important to note that the Pasteur Institute is the only reference laboratory authorized by the Algerian Ministry of Health to conduct diphtheria diagnostics.
