EGFR: mutations real-time PCR genotyping kit

We’d like to introduce a new booklet about the "EGFR" mutations real-time PCR genotyping kit.

The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a transmembrane glycoprotein. Congenital and acquired mutations in this gene are associated with chromosomal instability, unchecked division and survival of transformed cells, that can lead to the development of cancer.

Identification of mutations in the EGFR gene is required in accordance with the standards for the minimum «mandatory volume» of molecular genetic testing and determination of predictive biomarkers in non-small cell lung cancer.

Screening for mutations makes it possible to increase clinical efficacy of the treatment and to reduce the cost by eliminating ineffective drugs.
