“DNA-Technology” has completed the quality assessment study of SARS-CoV-2 molecular detection coordinated by Quality Control for Molecular Diagnostics (QCMD), UK. The Panel  Composition included Alpha, Beta SARS-CoV-2 Variants, etc. The correct result was obtained in 100% of cases.

First outbreak of the Candida auris, type of yeast or fungi, has been reported recently in the Texas and Washington, USA (source). This fungus is not dangerous for the people with strong immune system, but can be a big problem for those with the impaired immunity – people with chronic or opportunistic diseases.

We’d like to announce a new information booklet about the “MycosoScreen” kit for detection and typing pathogens of fungal infections by PCR in real time.

Infections caused by yeast-like fungi (mycoses) have a wide range of clinical manifestations. The most common pathological processes are caused by yeast-like fungi of the genera Candida, Saccharomyces, Debaryomyces and Malassezia.

We’d like to announce a new booklet about the "BacResista GLA" and "BacResista GLA Van/Mec" kits for detection of genes of resistance to glycopeptide and beta-lactam antibiotics in bacteria by real-time PCR. In recent decades, the prevalence of strains of microorganisms resistant to antibacterial drugs has made it much more difficult to treat patients with bacterial infections.

The Panel Composition includes among others SARS-CoV-2 Delta Variant B.1.617.2. The obtained results were correct for all samples.
